Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Scientist to join our ADME group in Waltham, reporting to the Director of DMPK. In this role, you will deliver BA and ADME support to Oncology discovery programs and contribute to the quantitative analysis of in vivo PK/PD studies across our global portfolio. You will collaborate with established ADME teams in Boston (US) and Cambridge (UK) and present findings in multidisciplinary settings. What you will do Independently develop and validate bioanalytical methods, analyze biological samples using quantitative LC-MS/MS assays, analyse and present findings back to project teams. Lead quality control and data review for BA to ensure accuracy, reproducibility, and regulatory readiness where applicable. Conduct operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of key platforms: laboratory automation/liquid handling, mass spectrometers and LC equipment such as Hamilton liquid handling system, AB Sciex triple quadrupoles, HRMS and Shimadzu LC Develop and implement state-of-the-art technologies in the field of drug metabolism. Support the department's leadership team in both the strategic vision for the department and in the efficient and progressive running of the department. Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice, Safety, Health and Environment standards and all other relevant internal AstraZeneca standards and external regulations. Essential Requirements BS/MS (or equivalent) in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, or related discipline, with 4+ years of industry experience.
